The Beauty Department

So something very exciting happened to me today. I discovered a new beauty website! I know to most people this isn’t very exciting, but to me it is. I guess this is why my boyfriend tells me I’m amused easily. But then again he is in love with Robert Cattinson so he can’t really talk (see Robert Cattinson HERE)…

Anyway I digress; the website that I found was The Beauty Department (in case the title of my blog didn’t give it away). This awesome beauty focused website launched in late April by Ms Lauren Conrad, Amy Nadine (make-up artist) and Kristin Ess (hairstylist).

I’ve had a look at the website today and I really like it! It’s simple yet pretty, has lots of information but not in a cluttered way, and has really good content. All in all I would have to say it’s a winner!

I must confess I’m a huge Lauren Conrad fan! I LOVE the hills and think Lauren is stunning, has a great sense of style and her make-up always looks great. I did think of her as being more of a fashion icon then a beauty specialist, but since she always look fabulous I guess the girl has it down!


I haven’t read LC’s new book Style yet, but after seeing The Beauty Department I think I might have to go and get myself a copy!
