So as I mentioned in my previous blog post today, my morning wasn’t very crash hot. For 1 thing I woke up late. Well that’s actually a lie…my alarm clock went off, but I rolled over and fell back asleep for another 40 mins (good thing I always give myself extra time of a morning to mosey around)! As such I pretty much pulled on the first thing I could get my hands on. I didn’t really think too much about my outfit until I got to work, and I have to say I did pretty good considering I didn’t put much thought into it.

I’m wearing my uber-comfortable boyfriend jeans (because I wore them to uni yesterday and they were the first pair of pants that I could get my hands on) which I got for a steal at Just Jeans. I’m teaming them with a plain black tee (a wardrobe staple of mine and I have about 6 of them) and a vintage blazer (which was my mum’s in like the 80’s). If you know me, you know that I love a good blazer and have about 12 of them, so again was a quick reach into the wardrobe. But doesn’t a blazer just dress up an outfit! It really is a fail-safe! If you don’t own a blazer I highly recommend you get yourself one, in black.
And finally, the cherry on-top, my awesomely awesome Steve Madden clog-style platform pumps!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes (and not just because I purchased them in New York). They are comfortable, a little bit edgy, high and just put me in a good mood! Nothing like some power heels to cheer up your day.
I reluctantly ask what you think of my outfit today?
If you hate it, please keep in mind I’ve had a very bad morning and please don’t make me cry at my desk this afternoon.
